Labrador Technology News Releases

New York, NY, June 21, 2012 – Labrador Technology (www.labradortech.com) is proud to announce that the company has raised $28,000 for the March of Dimes. The money raised will fund important research and programs that help babies begin healthy lives.

For the past four years, Labrador Technology employees have come together to coordinate fundraising events and participate in the March for Babies walk-a-thon. Tom Bradbury, Labrador’s CEO, started this event as a chance for the company to work together and give back to the community. “Each year our employee participation and fundraising events increase; it’s a fun way to join together as a group. Every year the team amazes me more with the level of dedication they have to making a difference for the March of Dimes,” said Tom.

You can also support March for Babies by making a donation here, www.marchofdimes.com/giving/support_marchforbabies.html. Your gift funds programs in your community that help moms have healthy, full-term pregnancies. And it supports research to find answers to the problems that threaten our babies.

New York, NY, June 6, 2012 – Labrador Technology (www.labradortech.com) announced today that it has been selected to develop IT standards for a leading global luxury goods company, for a store planning and construction initiative. The client is an international corporation that represents many of the world’s leading brands in the field of luxury goods.

Labrador will develop and document IT infrastructure standards that will result in a uniform store planning process, making growth and physical store expansion seamless. Standardizing store planning will streamline the build process, create a clear set of IT requirements and result in significant savings through material manufacturer bulk purchasing. In addition, a clear set of requirements, considerations and responsibilities for IT will help to keep vendors accountable, elucidate who does what and when, and close gaps in communication between departments. Moreover, it will reduce the time commitment from staff, particularly IT and facilities, in future store rollouts. And creating a corporate handbook for store builds will enable easier network and systems configurations and administration for each location.

Labrador will work closely with the client’s IT and facilities stakeholders to develop a comprehensive set of clearly defined IT requirements for new store builds. These new requirements will reflect and support the client’s values of: attention to detail, superior customer service and quality first.
